Born 6/10/1964 in Richmond, VA. ...and if all goes according to plan (it did) I'll be married (I am) on 7/22/2000 at 1:00 PM.
I currently work at the power company here in the Fault Analysis department, I was a substation Relay technician for 11 years). I have a A.A.S. Degree in Electronics, obtained in 1986. I graduated from Hermitage High School in 1982 on my 18th birthday. I also took electronics for two years in high school at the Vo-tech center.
In my spare time, once a week (sometimes more), I volunteer at The Virginia Voice for the Print Handicapped, a radio reading service for people that cannot read for themselves (usually because of vision problems, but not always). I read the comics out of the newspaper and the Dave Barry column on Thursday nights. I also do some engineering work for them as well, and fill in as board operator once in a while.
I recently started taking piano lessons. Here are some of the songs I've learned to play.Also, I do some electronics repair and fiddle with radio related electronics. Oh, yeah, I do mess with computers occasionally...
On 2/15/2001 I obtained my amateur radio license and on 11/15/2001 I upgraded to General and on 1/7/2002 I upgraded to Extra Class. My call sign is W4BNO.
