I by no means suggested that CC is not making money off the Billboards in Times Square - They are in the business of making money (aren't we all). This is still America and even River Road United Methodist Church (have you heard those money makers?) is looking to make money! That's right! Imagine a Church making enough money to be on prime dayparts every day...I wish I could afford that!
Then again it's not about money is it?
I was simply suggesting that the Clear Channel relief fund is about raising money for a cause through all of your channels.
And suggesting that the card is not a gimic! Maybe it was thought up with good intentions! This may surprise you but the card thing didn't come from corporate. Yes they sometimes let the staff members think for themselves! This may suprise you but everybody at CC are not big wigs! Some of the CC crew actually care. And all are most likely out to make money. If you don't want to make money I got a great gig for you at NPR!
As far as being Naive...Heaven help me! Anyone who is in this dirty, dirty, dirty, business - is as YOU say Naive!
Not that you care, but I will never post here again (first and last time) respond if you wish! I need to go make some money - or maybe send a card to the crew who doesn't have time for all of this B.S.! Here's hoping they all end up in New York's Canyon of Hero's!
