I would just like to state that I think Clear Channel sucks. I can't listen to most Richmond Radio anymore.
And when are we going to get a decent station that plays some punk, ska, techno (the real stuff, not this maddona and cher wanna be techno tripe) and good hard stuff?
I HATE pop, country, hip-hop, rap, oldies, etc.
I'm just glad I have a portable mp3 player so I don't have to listen to the crap that's being broadcast in the air around here. |

I hate punk, ska, and techno. That stuff is barely real music, just repetitiveness, and doesn't have a broad appeal, as someone already pointed out. |

Hey, yo - Have you heard the Thunder Arrow As* Tatoo Spots?! "We are no longer tatooing as*es. If you want to tatoo your as*, then you will have to go someplace else to get your as*es taooed..." And on and on and on. Puh-leaze! Give me a freakin' break. I know that sales wienies are the lowest form of life, but this spot proves that the management at the CC stations running this crap are just plain STUPID. Worse than me in fact. I know what is appropriate to say in public - they do not. What a bunch of morons. Now every time I hear this spot it makes me want to chuck. You dip-wads that work there and write this crap should have your head examined! Ever heard of going to the boss and saying, "I dunno, is this ok?"
Now bend over you dumb heads, because your tatoo on your as* should say, "I'm not with stupid, I am stupid!" |

True, the Jeff and Jeff show was hilarious, almost brilliant. But Jeff Mckee and the morning crew was simply an unoriginal watered down stern wannabe who stole his bits from everyone else. Ahh, Dee Snider, something good to listen to besides Bill Bevins. |

There wasn't any difference between Jeff and Jeff, and Jeff McKee and the morning crew. Just a different schmuck running the board for McKee.
And since when did stern ever do any bits like calls of the day or joke du jours or promotions like the gas wars? Jeff may have pulled those arnold calls of the internet, but he is far more talented and dimensional than stern. You never heard Jeff spend an entire morning on a topic like lesbian love. He is more intellegent than that. But don't kid yourself. Neither Beck or Fox had any say in that show. Least wise you never heard them. Probly better that way. timmy, you show your true ignorance of the situation if you think that the show mckee was doing towards the end was his own idea. the man fought compromising the quality shows he and jeff and just he alone knocked out of the park on a regular basis for years. the morons at cc wanted crap so bad they blew him away and gave us doo snider. if you can't recognize talent when you hear it, then you're as bad as the enemy. he was the most talented radio guy this town has ever seen, believe me, i was lucky enough to be in the room for a few months and it was electric.
if a guy like that gets blown away, we're all doomed or maybe it's time to stage a revolt |

XL102 WENT DOWN HILL WHEN THEY TURNED AWAY FROM THE HOME OF CLASSIC ROCK STATION. THANK GOD FOR COX RADIO AND 96.5 THE PLANET. CLEAR CHANNEL SUCKS AND THEY NEED TO GET OUT OF THE RICHOND RADIO MARKET. JEFF & JEFF YOU WILL BE MISSED THOUGH. THE ONLY GOOD THING XL102 DID WAS THE CHILLIE COOK OFF I GUESS THAT WILL BE STOPPED NEXT. MAYBE THE PLANET WILL PICK IT UP AND TURN IT INTO A REAL PARTY AND GET THE BULL S*** BANDS OUT OF HERE THAT WERE HERE THE LAST 2 YEARS |

I'm almost afraid to post, I don't want y'all jumping down my throat. The new syndicated show at 9AM on WRVA, the Jeff Beck show? (I think that's the name of it.) First day, hated it. Today....with his "coincidence" jingle about everything going on that has NOTHING to do with the terrorists (anthrax in Florida, Alaska air crash, Indian air hijacking, etc) made me smile. Then made me laugh. And when he kept on going I was wiping tears. It was funny, what can I say. Where does the show originate and it is live does anyone know? |
