Thor no longer has any Hiney Wine. When the Winery closed down on August 31, 1983 and was replaced by the Q-Morning Zoo on 9/1/83, The Hiney Winery went out of business. Thor now sells used tires she aquired while hanging out at various Church Hill areas.

I know that sales wienies are the lowest form of life, but this spot proves that the management at the CC stations running this crap are just plain STUPID. Worse than me in fact. I know what is appropriate to say in public - they do not. What a bunch of morons. Now every time I hear this spot it makes me want to chuck. You dip-wads that work there and write this crap should have your head examined! Ever heard of going to the boss and saying, "I dunno, is this ok?"

I've always used my real name whenever I post. I have nothing to hide. Like I've said in the past, I usually agree with most of what Thor has to say. In fact, I usually enjoy reading your commentary. But lately I find myself annoyed by your better-than-all you pee-on's attitude. I've worked with most all of the people that you trash and I have developed deep respect for all of them. You may be a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the factual and statistical side of radio. But as for the heart of radio, I'm talking about those of us who do the leg work, the air staff, the promotional staff and the part timers trying to kick off their radio career, well compared to them your just another corporate lapdog. And that "Thor" makes you a nobody. I don't agree with anyone threatening you like this Rik person. You’re free to express your opinions just like the rest of us. But I am also free to say that I have no respect for you. So "Thor", you know who I am. Now who are you? Don't worry, I know that's too much to ask. Heaven knows we don't want the corporate's to find out who we are. They might just fire us. |

If you are in programming, you gutless punk then you are part of the problem, because bad programming is killing radio. I would say it's time you shed your glad rags so that the whole world can see who you really are. Hey boys & girls, your town is nothing but a hillbilly town with some 20 share BS radio station that wouldn't pull a 2 share in any other city. The rest of you people are so bad, the top station in town doubles #2's numbers.
Where are these places and why does Thor have to read about markets 300 and below. Thor didn't even know these places had computers. So do not post here, Thor does not have the time to read stuff about your cities. Thor beleives there should be a rule, no idiots from beleow let's say market 60. That way the morons from po-dunk and a whole lot more po-dunk towns won't be on this silly little site.
